Wheel Throwing 101

In this introductory course, students will learn wheel-throwing fundamentals with one on one instruction. 

This class is recommended for everyone above age 12 at any skill level. (For children under the age of 12 it is recommended to take the hand building courses)

Newcomers to the wheel will learn to center clay and throw basic cylindrical forms and bowls. Students with some experience will be taught how to improve their skills and be guided to try larger or more complex forms. All students will learn how to glaze/decorate their finished work.

No previous wheel-throwing experience necessary. (Material fee includes Clay, Tools, Firings and Glaze)

Siblings, friends or partners may sign up for lessons at the same time for semi-private lessons with a 10% discount. (Maximum 2 students)
